The Sinhala and Tamil New Year 2026 was formally celebrated at INSS with dignity and cultural pride. The Director General, together with senior officers and staff members, marked the auspicious occasion in keeping with traditional customs and values. Addressing the gathering, the Director General conveyed New Year wishes to all staff and emphasized the importance of unity, commitment, and collective effort in achieving the institute’s goals in the year ahead. Subsequently, the ceremonial lighting of the oil lamp was conducted, symbolizing prosperity, unity, and new beginnings. The event concluded with a tea party fostering goodwill, camaraderie, and harmony among all members of the institute.
