INSS Research Staff Participate at the Lecture conducted by the think tank Geopolitical Cartographer

The research staff of the Institute of National Security Studies (INSS) participated the lecture under the theme of ‘International Cooperation for the Protection of the Environment’ organized by the Geopolitical Cartographer, which was held on 28th March 2023 at the Jasmine Hall of the BMICH. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Erik Solheim, the Sixth and Former UN Environment Executive Director; Under-Secretary-General of the UN. Further, the lecture was followed by a panel discussion titled ‘Uniting for a Greener World: The Role of International Cooperation in Protecting the Environment’ which was featured by Mrs. Thilaka Jayasundera, Secretary to the Ministry of Industries, and Dr. Matthew McCartney, Principal Researcher of the International Water Management Institute. Hon. Ranil Wickremesinghe, President of the Democratic, Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka attended the event.
